The Fondation Braillard Architectes is pleased to invite you to the 4th Geneva Seminar, which will be held online on December 15, 2021, around the theme “The ecological transition of the urban world“. We wish to deepen a subject of burning topicality: the role of cities and territories in the ecological in the ecological transition, in the light of the climate crisis.  

How can we learn to redesign our cities under the pressure of global warming? What devices, what solidarity, what technologies will enable populations to meet together the greatest challenge of the 21st century?  What will be the lifestyles of tomorrow?  

  • The Seminar will highlight the results of two consecutive years of the accelerated and innovative and innovative Transition Workshop, conducted in partnership with the Office de l’urbanisme of Geneva, the City of Geneva, the EPFL, the Services Industriels Genevois (SIG) Services Industriels Genevois (SIG) and the University of Geneva. During this debate, the opening to registration for the Transition Workshop 2022.  
  •  During this day, the considerable progress made during the international consultation during the international consultation Luxembourg in Transition, labelled by the Fondation Braillard Architectes under the Eco-Century Project®. This presentation will be made in the presence of presence of the Luxembourg Minister for Regional Planning and Energy Claude TURMES, the Director General of the Office de l’Urbanisme of the Canton of Geneva Sylvain FERRETTI and the Cantonal Town Planner of the Canton of Geneva Ariane WIDMER 
  •  This will be followed by an in-depth debate on the opportunities, the urgencies and the pitfalls of the transition project.  

The Geneva 2021 Seminar is one of the key events of the Eco-Century Project®, placed under the aegis of the United Nations Environment Programme ( UNEP ).
