Robert Sadleir

Robert Sadleir est le directeur de Bureau Haus Ltd, une entreprise qui conçoit des systèmes résilients pour la transition. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les opérations humanitaires au sein d’agences des Nations Unies avant de se concentrer sur la gestion des risques et la durabilité en tant que responsable des infrastructures durables au sein de la branche conseil de Lloyd’s Register à Londres. Par la suite, il s’est impliqué dans l’élaboration de normes sur les communautés durables et les villes intelligentes pour l’Organisation internationale de normalisation et la Commission électrotechnique internationale. Il est économiste formé à l’Université de Sydney, au Graduate Institute de Genève et à l’Université de Harvard. Il est membre du comité scientifique de la Braillard Architectural Foundation et membre de la Royal Geographical Society de Londres.

Robert Sadleir is the Director of Bureau Haus Ltd, a firm designing resilient systems for transition. He commenced his career in humanitarian operations with United Nations agencies before shifting focus to risk management and sustainability as head of sustainable infrastructure at the consulting arm of Lloyd’s Register in London. Subsequently, he became involved in developing standards on Sustainable Communities and Smart Cities for the International Standards Organisation and the International Electrotechnical Commission. He is an economist trained at the University of Sydney, The Graduate Institute, Geneva and Harvard University. He is a scientific committee member of the Braillard Architectural Foundation and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, London.
