Cities are three dimensional spaces as well as social places bringing together life, action and hope. The renown Italian architect Stefano Boeri, member of the Greater Geneva international consultation group explains how this experience opens new horizons for urban sustainability.
Stefano BOERI is an architect and president of Triennale di Milano. For this project, he has worked in collaboration with among others Michel Desvigne, landscape architecte, Pier Paolo Tamburelli, architect, Klaas De Rycke, architect and Rawad Choubassi, urban planner.
This intervention was the second part of our conference “The Architecture of Transition: buildings, cities and landscapes in the prism of the climate change”. Our built environment will be the cause, the effect and the stage of our future sustainable lives. Imagination, precision and agency of change are the indispensable traits of the creative consciousness that will power design thinking and practices.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
