  • Nathalie MONGÉ — architect and landscape architect at Atelier Apaar
Through her participation in the Greater Geneva international consultation group, the young Genevan architect Nathalie Mongé opens up new perspectives for decarbonization in imagining an active citizen management of the common urban resources, both material and immaterial.
Nathalie MONGE is an architect and landscape architect at Atelier Apaar. For this project, she has worked in collaboration with among others the team of Atelier Apaar (Séraphin Hirtz, Raphaël Niogret et Thomas Bolliger), bureau Sofies (David Martin), bureau 6t-mobilité (Sébastien Munafò), Irène Gil, illustrator, and Team Academy HES-SO Wallis.
This intervention was the seventh part of our conference “The Architecture of Transition: buildings, cities and landscapes in the prism of the climate change”. Our built environment will be the cause, the effect and the stage of our future sustainable lives. Imagination, precision and agency of change are the indispensable traits of the creative consciousness that will power design thinking and practices.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
