Member both of the younger generation of Swiss architects and of the Greater Geneva international consultation group, Oscar Buson adopts a radical position on the energy transition of cities and advocates for a new planning and living conscience.

Oscar BUSON is an architect and urban designer at Raum404. For this project, he has worked in collaboration with among others Lorenz Eugster, landscape architect; Sascha Roesler, architecte – USI; Giulia Scotto, architect, urban studies – Basel University; Guido Rindfüser, civil engineer – Emch+Berger; Thiébaut Parent, project manager – Drees&Sommer.

This intervention was the fifth part of our conference “The Architecture of Transition: buildings, cities and landscapes in the prism of the climate change”. Our built environment will be the cause, the effect and the stage of our future sustainable lives. Imagination, precision and agency of change are the indispensable traits of the creative consciousness that will power design thinking and practices.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
