Fondation Braillard Architectes comes together with the NEB Lab “Sustainable and Inclusive Neighbourhoods” led by BABLE Smart Cities, CPEA, DGNB, Drees & Sommer and ICLEI, to host a Brussels Event within the NEB Festival, on June 11 2026.
This NEB Lab x Braillard Compass event at Brussels aims to bring together policymakers, practitioners, researchers and civic actors to discuss together the ecological transition of cities and regions, in a changing world.
In this session, real project experiences – Commit2Green, Urban Oasis 2.0, Blueprint and CitySync – will be discussed openly, to show how circular construction, adaptive reuse, and biodiversity solutions, among others, can be integrated into neighborhoods.
The aim is not only to demonstrate that sustainability can be aesthetic and functional, but also to address the challenges, contradictions and setbacks that can arise along the way.
Rather than a conventional panel, we aim to hold compact strategic working session: a moderated conversation designed to test assumptions, sharpen priorities and identify actionable directions for neighborhood transition in Europe.
We look forward to an exciting exchange with you!
