We use strategic foresight to shape the ecological future of cities and territories, through the principles of our Eco-Century Project®.
By blending in-house expertise with strong networks, we have delivered two major international consultations, trusted by leading national operators such as Geneva and Luxembourg.
Our expertise stands out through a conceptual and methodological amplitude, rooted in a tailor-made fusion of science, technology, culture, and human relations. This unique Gestalt gives our interventions their distinctive character — versatile, adaptable, and attuned to your scales of space, time, and expectations.
Consultation Greater Geneva
On the initiative of the Braillard Architects Foundation, a consortium of partners is launching the urban-architectural and landscape consultation entitled “Prospective Visions for Greater Geneva. To inhabit the landscape city of the 21st century” Consultation. International and interdisciplinary, its ambition is to gather elements of knowledge and to develop scenarios of evolution by the project for the Franco-Valdo-Geneva agglomeration by 2050. Its character is based on the three pillars of sustainable development, namely the environment, the social and the economy.
International Consultation Luxembourg in Transition
From 2020 to 2022, the director of the Braillard Architects Foundation was the scientific director of the Luxembourg in Transition International Consultation.
Based on the previous experience of Greater Geneva, the selection process, follow-up and final results have:
- pushed the limits of understanding the environmental challenge of Luxembourg's cross-border territory;
- lead to convincing results at both the large scale and the neighbourhood level.
The foundation also contributed to the dissemination of the lessons learned from this consultation. During its 4th Geneva Seminar in 2021, dedicated to “The ecological transition of the urban world”, an important part of the discussions focused on the methodological advances of “Luxembourg in Transition”.
This event presented the results and innovative approaches developed in the framework of the consultation to a wider audience, including stakeholders from the Geneva region. This has encouraged the sharing of knowledge and experience between the two forward-looking approaches, that of Greater Geneva and that of Luxembourg, both of which are faced with transition challenges in cross-border territories.
