  • the Federation of Swiss Architects (FAS)

  • the Geneva Association of Developers and Builders (APCG)
  • Patrimoine Suisse Genève
  • the Swiss Federation of Landscape Architects (FSAP)

This international academic conference, to be held on 9 and 10 December 2026, sets out to examine urban densification in the age of ecological transition: how can we accommodate new populations, activities and services while protecting soil, water, biodiversity, open spaces and the conditions of habitability?

The call is addressed to researchers, practitioners and professionals in spatial planning, architecture, urban planning, landscape, the humanities and social sciences and the environmental sciences, as well as to civil society stakeholders. The selected proposals will be presented at the conference and published in a bilingual French-English academic publication.
