Eranos Conference 2022

SYMBOLOGY OF THE EARTH
The inhospitable planet and the thinking of a new habitability

Casa Eranos, Ascona (Switzerland)
8-10 September 2022

The Fondation Braillard Architectes is pleased to collaborate once again with the Eranos Foundation on this lecture series focusing on the habitability of our planet:

When the relationship between civilisation and nature breaks down, the future becomes uncertain. Under the impact of what Nietzsche would call the will to power of an immature freedom, it becomes difficult to grasp the future of our planet. Alongside the expert discourses that expose the unsustainability of our ways of life, and with a view to reorienting them, it is time to question cultures, their symbols and their myths in order to nourish our imagination about a different relationship with resources and the very experience of the habitability and hospitality of the Earth.
