About Homo Faber:
Homo Faber is a public project that puts craft skills, local materials and manual techniques, long relegated to the background, back at the heart of the debate. Starting from Geneva, the forum will then take on a travelling format, off the beaten track, with three immersive gatherings. More information here.

These gatherings will foster rich exchanges between practitioners, craftspeople, researchers, institutions and the wider public, around four key themes: Heritage, Pedagogy, Practice and Community.

A project led by the Art of Sciences laboratory (LAPIS – EPFL) in partnership with the Fondation Braillard Architectes, funded by an Agora grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).

Organising committee:
Vasileios Chanis, Panos Mantziaras, Nicola Braghieri, sophie barenne,

Advisory committee:
Florence Graezer Bideau, Sabine Nemec-Piguet (International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), Helen Wyss, Pauline Claire Nerfin, Philippe Nicollier, Dominique Foray
