Following the public success of the Transition Seeds lecture series, the Fondation Braillard Architectes is launching an open call for diploma projects in architecture, landscape and urban planning whose philosophy, strategy and design proposals fall within the framework of its cultural and research programme The Eco-Century Project (ECP).
We are looking for recent graduates who wish to share their work with our audience in Switzerland and internationally.
Themes
The programme’s three main strands are: Sustainable Utopias, Emergencies and Existenzoptimum.
Visit our website for more information on these topics.
Conditions
- The work submitted may be individual or the product of a team.
- The work must have been accepted and formally validated by the institution.
- The work must consist mainly of drawings and models, possibly with texts and calculations.
With the assistance of the ECP programme’s scientific committee, the Foundation will assess the applications, 10 of which will be selected to make up the 2021-22 season of lectures. Candidates will be notified of the results by email on 15 October.

Each diploma presentation will be commented on by a respondent chosen jointly by the FBA and the graduate. A public discussion, moderated by the director of the Foundation, will close each session. Selected candidates will be supported by the FBA’s experienced team in preparing their presentation.
