Envision the ecological transition through architectural, urban and landscape design.

For the seventh consecutive year, the Fondation Braillard launches its annual call for diploma projects and first works in architecture, landscape and urban planning. Selected projects will join the Transition Seeds webinar series and be shared with audiences in Switzerland and abroad.

Approaches, strategies and proposals must fall within the framework of the Foundation’s culture and research programme, The Eco-Century Project (ECP).

Themes

Projects are part of an ecological transition approach, around two axes (either and/or both):

  • Decarbonisation of buildings, cities and territories
  • Resilience of buildings, cities and territories

Conditions of participation

  1. Only one project may be submitted, whether individual or collective.
  2. Diploma projects must have been approved by the affiliated institution.
  3. The application consists mainly of drawings, models and digital renderings, supplemented where relevant by texts and calculations.

Selection and process

Braillard, together with the Eco-Century Project scientific committee, will select 10 projects to make up the 2027 conference programme. Results will be announced by email at the end of November.

The webinars will be held online, in French or English, between January and June 2027. Each presentation will be:

  • discussed by a respondent jointly appointed by Braillard and the candidate;
  • followed by a public discussion moderated by the Director of Braillard.

Selected candidates will benefit from the support of Braillard’s experienced team to prepare their presentation.

  2. Individual CV or CVs of the team members.
  3. Project presentation in PDF format, combining texts and images.
  4. Cover letter introducing the graduate(s) and the project (max. 2 pages).
