Climate change confronts us with systemic upheavals and imminent population displacements. Over the long time span of these emergencies, we must consider the permanence of immediate solutions. The inherent precariousness forces us to project ourselves across several timescales, striving towards an ideal that is unattainable at time zero. The two projects propose new ways of dwelling that are less defined and less formal, through two complementary approaches: populating a neglected place and relocating a neglected people.
