Lecture Series | Designing the Transition of Grand Genève

2021 lecture series

04 February 2021, 17:00 – 06 May 2021, 19:30

1 / 1

The ecological transition towards a decarbonised society is the only answer to the challenges of global warming. It opens a fertile path for our cities, villages and territories in search of new development scenarios and ways of life. How can we design a trajectory based on actions that are at once desirable, resource-efficient and adaptable for the territory of Grand Genève?

To debate this horizon, rich in projects, inventions and collective achievements, the Fondation Braillard Architectes, in partnership with the Department of Territory of the Canton of Geneva and the Pôle métropolitain du Genevois français, invites you to a series of lecture-debates highlighting cross-cutting thematic approaches presented by the seven winning teams of the Grand Genève Consultation.

Hosted by Panos Mantziaras (Director, FBA) and Ariane Widmer (Cantonal Urban Planner, State of Geneva), the lectures will take place once a month and will be followed by an open discussion with the audience.
