Schedule of the Transition Seeds 2026 webinar series

Recently graduated or at the start of their professional careers, these ten architects, urban planners and landscape architects have been selected to present their outstanding work publicly to an informed audience. Beyond their qualities of reflection and development, and their attention to detail and aesthetics, these projects are above all manifestos for professions committed to ecology and the transition.

THOUGHT AND UNTHOUGHT

Like many disciplines, arts and techniques, architecture and urban planning have their founding narratives, their traditions, their currents and counter-currents, their successes and their failures. What sets them apart, however, is the constant back-and-forth between verbal communication (manual, treatise, manifesto, presentation, specification, etc.) and non-verbal communication (sketch, drawing, model, construction). Our projects and built works are thus the offspring of improbable unions between the thought and the unthought, the said and the unsaid of our disciplines.

This perpetuum mobile now collides with the imperatives of the ecological transition: how can we describe, measure, draw and produce a new generation of projects that meet the needs of decarbonisation and resilience, while avoiding the losses along the way and the misunderstandings heightened by political fog and technological misconceptions?

The next edition of Transition Seeds therefore launches the series Thought and Unthought to shed further light on young graduates’ quest for meaning and impact.
