Guided tour “History and renovation at the cable car”
Sunday 22 September at 11:00
As part of the European Heritage Days 2024.
An architectural journey through time awaits you! 92 years after it first entered service, the redevelopment of the cable car’s upper station and its site has reached a form of completion. This tour is an opportunity to revisit the fundamental parameters of this exceptional structure, offering a retrospective look at its context, history, design and construction, deeply rooted in Franco-Genevan identity and resolutely focused on the future.
With Mr Paul Marti, research fellow at the Fondation Braillard Architectes
